Over the years I have found climbing into bed to claim my spot on the pillow a champion plan.

If I am early to bed, in advance of Julie, I can choose which pillow suits me best. I have learned how to get well and good under the sheets and blankets.

I leave Julie an adequate amount of bed surface and some covers. There are times I hear her grumble but I am sure she is grateful that there is a warm spot for her. She releases a deep sigh and a “hmmmm” sound from time to time.
